Nonlinear nuclear stochastic theory
Description
At-power nuclear reactor noise is an intrinsically nonlinear, stochastic phenomenon. Because a stochastic phenomenon displaying nonlinearity is difficult to analyze an examination is required to determine whether or not nonlinearity is exerting any effect upon the experimental/theoretical reconciliation stage of analyzing the phenomena. The present article reviews what nonlinear physical effects are bringing forth stochastic phenomena, how nonlinear operation in the course of measurement and system identification affects the intrinsic physical structures, how and when nonlinear aspects are theoretically treated, and what reasoning is applied to the characterization of nonlinear nuclear stochastics.
