Recent results on B physics from CLEO

  • 1. Purdue Univ., Lafayette, IN (United States)

Description

Recent results from the CLEO electron-positron annihilation experiment are reviewed. A measurement of the semileptonic branching ratio is presented and the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element is determined. Possible implications of non-BB-bar decays of the Υ(4S) on this measurement are discussed. Results of semileptonic decays are used to test the factorization hypothesis which is used to study hadronic B meson decays. (author) 19 refs., 2 figs., 1 tab
