High precision densimeter for heavy water analysis

Description
A high precision densimeter for analysis of heavy water isotopic concentration is presented. The density is derived from the eigenfrequency of oscillation of a tube filled with the fluid to be measured. An increase in measurement accuracy was obtained by utilization of a Peltier electronic thermostat. This densimeter has numerous applications in chemical and petrochemical industry, in paper and sugar industry, in nuclear fuel reprocessing, as well as, in medical research. 1 Fig
