Behaviour of galactic cosmic ray GCR currents obtained due to global surveying using data from neutron monitor international network concerning 1968-1969 and 1973-1974 periods depending on polarity sign of the interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) is analyzed. Average value of GCR currents concerning both periods are obtained. GCR currents in IMF negative and positive sectors were considered individually
