The bone mineral content of the radius of females in the propagative age examined with photon absorption

Description
The mineral content of the radius of healthy women was found to be 0.84 g/cm. This value was decreased to 0.71 in the lactation period in 8 of the 19 examined pregnant women and in 11 of the 24 women taking hormonal contraceptive pills. The calcium and phosphorus content of the blood serum remained in the normal range. (L.E.)
