Beam line detectors studies for proton elastic scattering of unstable nuclei

Description
We have tested the purity of the secondary 20O beam from the 350MeV/A 40Ar beam by using beam line counters and the data acquisition (DAQ) system. The efficiency and the position resolution of the delay-line parallel-plate avalanche counter (PPAC) are measured for the use to determine the incident beam energy precisely. (author)
