The wind energy plant ''Kronsberg'' of Stadtwerke Hannover AG

Within the scope of an investigation on the location in the area of Hanover, 18 plants have been investigated on 5 locations under technical-economic points of view. The test of the plants showed that only types in the capacity range above 100 kW could be taken into account due to the considerable additional exposures. The selected Enercon plant with 280 kW, which has been equipped with a higher tower and an enlarged rotor for inland operation, runs in normal operation parallel to the network since July 1989. This contribution deals with questions regarding cost, acceptance as well as operating experience. (BWI)

Abstract (German)

Im Rahmen einer Standortuntersuchung wurden im Raum Hannover 18 Anlagen an fuenf Standorten nach technisch-wirtschaftlichen Gesichtspunkten untersucht. Die Pruefung der Anlagen ergab, dass aufgrund der erheblichen Nebenkosten nur Typen im Leistungsbereich ueber 100 kW in Betracht kamen. Die ausgewaehlte Enercon-Anlagen mit 280 kW, die fuer den Binnenlandbetrieb mit hoeherem Turm und vergroessertem Rotor ausgeruestet wurde, laeuft seit Juli 1989 im normalen Netzparallelbetrieb. Der vorliegende Beitrag geht auf Fragen der Kosten, der Akzeptanz sowie der Betriebserfahrungen ein. (BWI)
