Description

In this study we elected to evaluate differences in activation pattern and in ventricular function between epicardiac and endocardiac pacing in 10 patients assessed by gated radionuclide angiogram (RNA). There was a significantly longer delay in contraction between right (RV) and left ventricle (LV) with epicardiac pacing. However synchronicity of contraction and ejection fraction (EF) of LV was significantly higher with epicardiac pacing
