Estimation of noble gase isotope fractioning factors during nonequilibrium evolution from aqueous solution
Description
General empiric expression for estimating factors of nonequilibrium fractioning of any noble gas isotopes in the water vapor-water system at the temperature within the range of 0-340 deg C is obtained. Quantitative evaluation of factors of noble gas isotope fractioning in the water-water vapor and water-gas systems is carried out and their temperature dependence is determined. It is shown that fractioning factors may significantly influence the noble gas isotope distribution between the above media under nonequilibrium conditions in natural processes
