Description
The values of the total absorption of the longitudinal ultrasonic waves in the interval of frequency from 3 to 15 MHz, in AC-1 alloy, were measured. The dominant mechanisms of absorption in examined samples are elastic hysteresis and stochastically scattering of the acoustical energy on the boundary of structural grains. The obtained values in this examinations were compared by the theoretically calculated coefficient of absorption (for λ>2pDa), and (for ΔKixDa << π/2. (Author)
