- 1. Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Bombay (India). Electronics Div.
Description
This paper describes the indigenous development of gamma ray scintillation camera in Electronics Division, BARC. The system is based on Anger principle. To establish the know-how the gamma camera was built around a 260 mm dia 6 mm thick NaI (T1) coupled to nineteen 38 mm dia photomultiplier tubes. The system after thorough testing and laboratory evaluation, has been upgraded to a system with thirty seven photomultipliers. (author). 3 figs
