Description
An x-ray fluorescence analyzer system was developed for routine analysis of mineral samples. X-ray tubes of 1.5 kW output are used with Mo anodes. 15-20 samples can be analyzed per day by the system. The calibration process and standards used are described. The results are compared with those of chemical analysis. X-ray diffractograms are used for investigating the matrix effects of x-ray fluorescence analysis. (D.Gy.)
