Description
The phase transition to the superconducting state of multilayered superconductor/ferromagnet heterostructures is investigated. It is shown that thickness variations of thin (nanometers) ferromagnetic layers, which is inevitably present in real samples, lead to the broadening of the phase transition. The complex nature of the mixed state in superconductor/ferromagnet heterostructures stimulates this process.(authors)
