Description
The role of radiative corrections in electroweak physics is examined. Special emphasis is given to their significance in neutral currents, mW, mZ and Z0 physics, as well as at low energies. The on-shell and anti Manti S renormalization frameworks and the basic radiative corrections Δr, Δanti r and Δanti rW are outlined. The comparison between theory and experiment, upper bounds on mt, the effect of a fourth generation with Dirac or Majorana neutrinos and novel parametrizations of new physics are discussed. (orig.)
