The European PWR - a progress report
Description
In the EPR (European Pressurised Water Reactor), Nuclear Power International (NPI) and its parent companies Siemens and Framatome have developed, with the support of major European electric utilities, a forward-looking technology for the next generation of nuclear power plants. Enhanced safety, competitiveness, simplified and increased operability - key issues that the next generation of nuclear power plants must satisfactorily resolve -should ensure that the EPR is an essential contributor to the global future of nuclear energy.
