Activities of the Special Committee on Reactor Physics for period of April 1982 - March 1985
Description
In the present progress report is given the activity of the Special Committee on Reactor Physics for the period of April 1982 ∼ March 1985. For these three years, the Committee has continued discussions on research activities of the reactor physics and on the matter related closely to the OECD-NEA Committee on Reactor Physics (NEACRP), for aiming at promoting efficient researches to solve various reactor physics problems in a wide field of nuclear energy development. In addition, three Subcommittees on Reactor System, Fusion Reactor and Shielding have carried on discussions about research works in the respective special fields. Main topics discussed in this period are 3-dimensional transport methods, advanced thermal reactor cycles, nuclear characteristics of large FBR's and so on. (author)

「炉物理研究」特別専門委員会は、炉物理の研究に関する討議、OECD・委員会(CRP)との連絡等を目的として、1967年以来活動を続けてきた。この20年間近くで炉物理研究も変貌を遂げ、当初は原子力開発の中心的課題であったが、現在では原子力開発に広く係わりを持つ一基礎分野となっている。この事実は炉物理研究の顕著な進展のもたらすところであるが、この結果、炉物理の研究課題は、当初の核分裂炉炉心関連から、核燃料サイクル、遮蔽、核融合炉ブランケット等の関連へと広く分散してきている。以上のような状態に鑑み、当委員会は、広範囲にわたる炉物理課題の解決を効率よく進めるための国内外専門家との意見交換、協力の中心的場としての役割を果し、研究の方向付けなどに資することを目的として昭和57∼59年度も活動した。本報では、当委員会が係わりを持っているNEACRPのこの3年間の活動をまとめ、委員会の活動状況、この3年間の主要トピックスについて概説する。 (著者)Additional details
