Canonical quantization of solitons: The breather sector

The sine-Gordon system is quantized in the breather sector. The algebra of quantum operators is obtained and their occurrence in the Heisenberg field operator is displayed explicitly. The quantum Hamiltonian, including the interaction between the breather and the particle quanta, is determined
