The workshop was on lithium wall conditioning effects in major Tokamak devices. The talks covered four areas: (a) Effects of lithium conditioning on core transport and plasma edge interactions (b) Laboratory studies of physical-chemical processes pertinent to lithium deposition and surface chemistry. (c) Status of models for these processes. (d) Possible use of lithium in the reactor nuclear fuel cycle. 1 ref
