Description
The distribution of the chamber's electric field would have an effect on the production and collection of the charges in different shapes. This paper analyses the internal electric field distribution of the three different chamber shapes by simulation software Ansoft Maxwell 2D. The results show that the electric field distribution of spherical and sphere-cylindrical ones are better than the cylindrical one, thus offering reliable technical conference to the chamber design.
