Sliding pulse generator

Full text: This paper describes Sliding Pulse Generator developed in Electronics Division BARC to provide signals for calibration and testing of pulse height analyser and spectroscopy systems. The pulse generator is accurate, stable, versatile and provide the resolution necessary for use with systems employing solid-state detectors. The pulse generator has been designed to meet specifications provided by standard international sliding pulse generator models. Components utilized for this pulse generator are commercially available and cost effective. This sliding pulse generator is designed to operate with +5 V power supply or on A.C. mains, and can be used to check differential non-linearity of the multichannel analyser
