Exclusion of occupied states in the Faddeev equations for three composite particles

  • 1. Moskovskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ. (USSR). Nauchno-Issledovatel'skij Inst. Yadernoj Fiziki

Description

It is shown that the pseudopotential method, proposed recently to account for occupied states in pair scattering amplitudes for composite particles, results in the exact exclusion of the occupied states also from the three-particle scattering amplitudes, as well as from the corresponding wave functions. The renormalized version of the Faddeev equations and of the three-particle Lippmann - Schwinger equations are presented and their exact solutions are shown to contain no contributions from the occupied states. In view of the considered theory an applicability of the distorted wave Born approximations is discussed
