Description

The X-ray diffraction study was made of a new heteropolycomplex being a part of the [(C2H5)4N]4[(VO)2(OH2)4UMo12O42]x8H2O crystals (REhD-4 diffractometer, MoKsub(α)-radiation, 4693 reflections, R=0.041) The crystals were found to have a monoclinic lattice with a=13.433(2), b=22.919(5), c=12.889(3) A, γ=90.69(1) deg, z=2 space group P21/n. Structural crystal units are [(VO2(OH)2)4UMo12O42]14- complex anions, tetraethylammonium cations and water molecules. The [(VO)2(OH2)4UMo12O42]4- complex anion is constructed of the [UMo12O42]8- anion, which coordinates two VO2+ ions presenting for this purpose three coordination points for each of them. Two water molecules supplement the coordination vanadium polyhedron up to the octahedron
