Description
The formation of third phase in DHDECMP-dodecane-nitric acid-uranium(VI) was studied by determining the densities of phases formed and also acid uptake by DHDECMP phase. The effect of various parameters like nature of acids, diluents, temperature of extraction, acid molarity, concentration of DHDECMP as well as concentration of U(VI) on the formation of third phase was studied.
