Process for the manufacture of adhering NbC layers on components consisting of NiCr alloys
Description
The invention concerns a process for the manufacture of adhering NbC layers on Ni Cr alloys, whose adhesion is guaranteed in a helium atmosphere even at high temperatures (≥ 9500C). Differing from the conventional process in which such layers are applied by thermal spraying, and which does not provide layers adhering at high temperatures, the NbC layers are formed in situ, by applying a niobium layer on the components to be coated and by subsequent carburisation of the niobium layer by means of existing CH4 impurities in the helium atmosphere. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Herstellen festhaftender NbC-Schichten auf Ni-Cr-Legierungen, deren Haftfestigkeit in einer He-Atmosphaere auch bei hohen Temperaturen (≥ 9500C) gewaehrleistet ist. Entgegen dem herkoemmlichen Verfahren, bei dem derartige Schichten durch thermisches Spritzen aufgebracht werden und das keine auch bei hohen Temperaturen festhafenden Schichten liefert, werden die NbC-Schichten 'in situ' gebildet, und zwar durch Aufbringen einer Niob-Schicht auf die zu beschichtenden Bauteile und durch nachfolgende Karburierung der Niob-Schicht mittels in der He-Atmosphaere vorhandener Verunreinigungen an CH4.
