Phase relations in the SiC-LaB6 system

Description
In a quaternary system of La-B-C-Si the interaction of the components is studied and a polythermal section of SiC-LaB6 described by an eutectic state diagram is built. The eutectic contains 74 mol. % SiC and 26 mol. % LaB6, melting temperature is 2110±20 Deg C. The data obtained have become a basis for development of a large group of structural ceramic materials in B4C-MB2, and SiC-MB2 systems

Изучено взаимодействие компонентов и построен политермический разрез SiC-LaB6 четверной системы La-B-C-Si, описываемый эвтектической диаграммой состояния. Эвтектика содержит 74 мол. % SiC и 26 мол. % LaB6, температура плавления 2110±20 град С. Полученные данные стали физико-химическим базисом для создания большой группы конструкционных керамических материалов в системах B4C-MB2, SiC-MB2Additional details
