Beryllium swelling under low temperature irradiation
Description
Beryllium swelling has been determined as a function of a low temperature in-pile irradiation dose. It is shown that at the irradiation temperature of about 100 deg C a crack and gas bubbles formation doesn't result in berylliym swelling. The latter is 'solid' and corresponds to the hypothesis that the volumes of He and H3 atoms in the material are equal to those in solid helium and hydrogen
