Description

The paper deals with the work performed by Neratoom and Interatom for the design of the primary pump, the intermediate heat exchanger, the secondary pump and the steam generators for SNR-2. This work was done during the pre-engineering stage of SNR-2. The main goals of the pre-engineering studies were the designs of systems and components according to operational and safety requirements for SNR-2. For the large components of SNR-2 it was attempted to make maximum use of the experience gained in the development, engineering, prototype testing, fabrication and licensing of the SNR-300 components. The paper describes the large components of SNR-2 and discusses the influence of SNR-300 experience and the main boundary conditions for the large components. (author)
