LMFBR fuel assembly design for fuel dispersal during an accident
Description
A fuel assembly for a liquid metal fast breeder reactor has upper axial blanket regions spaced from the fuel regions and arranged in two zones of different lengths in axial spacing in order to provide for dispersal flow path for the molten materials during a core meltdown accident. (author)
