Jobs and energy transition. Volume 1 - To optimise the job potential of ecological transition. Volume 2 - Green economy in Ile-de-Franc: jobs and professions. Volume 3 - Peculiarities and potentials in Ile-de-France

The objective of this study is to assess how many jobs will be created by ecological transition in Ile-de-France. The first volume proposes a common framework and is based on a literature survey, on data acquisition, and on interviews with public actors. It analyses current economic evolutions related to ecological transition and which will have an influence on jobs, the quantity and nature of created and destroyed jobs, and the roles and levers of public policies regarding education and training, prospective and actor coordination. The second volume proposes three approaches to assess jobs and professions related to the development of a green economy, identifies and discusses the different types (green, or greening) of professions which are related to a green economy, discusses the emergence and the potential job creation of some professions as well as their territorial location. In the third volume, the authors first discuss the peculiarities and potentials of the Ile-de-France region regarding ecological transition, and sheds a specific light on challenges in terms of jobs. Then, they make some recommendations for action at the regional scale.
