Diagnostic accuracy of Doppler ultrasound for detecting hepatic artery stenosis after liver transplantation

  • 1. Department of Diagnostic Radiology, Singapore General Hospital (Singapore)
  • 2. Department of Health Serviced Research Unit, Singapore General Hospital (Singapore)

Description

Highlights: • Hepatic artery stenosis is a common vascular complication following liver transplant. • Doppler ultrasound is non-invasive to monitor for hepatic artery stenosis. • Intrahepatic artery resistive index is excellent discriminator for stenosis. • Intrahepatic artery systolic acceleration time is good discriminator for stenosis. • New Doppler ultrasound predictive model to rule out hepatic artery stenosis. To evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of Doppler ultrasound (DUS) in detecting hepatic artery stenosis (HAS) after liver transplantation using computed tomography angiography (CTA) as the reference standard.
