Lifetime assessment of the reactor pressure vessel and reactor internals at the Temelin NPP. Final summary report
Description
The report summarizes 3 partial reports for the period from 1 April 1994 to 30 November 1996. The manufacturing documents of the Temelin (WWER 1000/320) reactor pressure vessel and reactor internals and manufacturer's calculation documents were assessed, a procedure was set up for determination of the pressure vessel radiation stress, and procedures were proposed for performing and evaluating mechanical tests within the surveillance specimen programme, for experimental determination of the nature and extent of corrosion-mechanical damage of the material, fatigue damage of the material, tolerability of defects, and experimental determination of the effect of repair by welding and overlaying on the pressure vessel safety and service life.
