On the calibration of energy-dispersive Si(Li)-detectors
Description
A standard-free approach to routine analysis requires the exact knowledge of the probable detector response. The use of proton-induced X-ray emission (PIXE) on thick, homogeneous targets of a defined composition for the calibration of a Si(Li)-detector is described, and the results obtained are discussed.
