Description

Self-similar flows behind a cylindrical blast wave with radiation heat flux are investigated. The ionizing shock is assumed to be propagating in a medium at rest with a non-uniform density permeated by an azimuthal magnetic field generated by a constant line current passing along the line source of the blast wave. The electrical conductivity of the gas is infinite behind the shock and zero ahead of it. (author)
