Fractionation in radiation therapy
Description
Use of dose fractionation in radiation therapy to cure various tumours is considered. The results of the effect of various dose fractions and fractionation periodicity on a tumour are given. A formula to calculate a mean radiation effect for any treatment stage is presented. Improvements in determination of exact parameters of fractionation in radiation therapy of various tumours are considered to be necessary
