The electron concentration-dose dependence in glassy matrices. A semiquantitative model
Description
A semiquantitative kinetic model describing the electron concentration-dose dependence for glassy ethanol is presented. According to this model the /esub(t)sup(-)/-dose relation results from the reaction of dry electrons with trapped radicals and certain stable radiolysis products as well as from the reaction of trapped electrons with trapped positive charges. The theoretical calculations are done for two different dose rates and the results are compared with literature data. (author)
