Description
The Ni-3d bands in the quarternary borocarbide YNi2B2C are supposed to lie close to the Fermi energy and hence play a crucial role in its superconductivity. A study of pseudoquarternary derivatives is expected to contribute in establishing the systematics that will help in understanding the nature and mechanism of superconductivity in this class of compounds
