Description
Objective: To ensure the accuracy of gross α and gross β radioactivity measurement in drinking water, improve the quality of monitoring, reduce the system error caused by the introduction of the method. Methods: Processing and measuring comparison water sample, then analyzing and evaluating the comparison result from 2009 to 2014. Results: With the same method, the five times of measurement results from 2009 to 2014 show that for gross α and gross β, the max deviation and min deviation is 9.30% (in 2014)/ -2.04% (in 2010) and 20.5% (in 2011)/ -2.13% (in 2012), respectively. Capacity evaluation indicates the qualified results from 2009 to 2011 and the excellent results from 2012 to 2014. Conclusion: The deviation of the measurement system can be found and corrected in time through the total radioactivity measurement in water, thus ensure the accuracy of the measurement results and improve the detection capability.
