Effect of single and fractionated X-radiation on the cornea epithelium of laboratory mice and redbacked voles

Description
The extent of a cytogenetic damage and depression of the mitotic activity of epithelial cells of common redbacked vole cornea after a single (350 and 700 R) and fractionated (350 R + 350 R at a 24-hour interval) X-irradiation is much lesser than that of the cornea epithelium of C57B1 mieace which corresponds to a general radiosensitivity of the animals under study. The effect of dose fractionation is only detected in the exposed cornea epithelium of common redbacked voles
