Structural and magnetic properties of new RRuGe compounds

Description
Investigations made by powder X-ray diffraction and magnetic measurements on new ternary RRuGe compounds (R=Sm,Gd,Tb,Dy,Ho,Er,Tm) are reported. They crystallise in the well-known orthorhombical TiNiSi-type structure (space group Pnma). The RRuGe compounds with R=Gd-Er are Curie-Weiss paramagnets above 77 K. The obtained results are compared with those obtained on isotypic RTX compounds. (orig.)
