Development of the food irradiation in the South Cone

In May of the 1998, took place in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the First Meeting of the Coordinating of the Project: Development of the Commercial Irradiation Allowances in the South Cone, ARCAL XXIX. They participate of the same one the four signatory countries of the Mercosur, their associate Chile and also Peru. In this Meeting the countries committed to carry out all the efforts to harmonize the laws of the land in allowances, taking like base the Regulation Harmonized Model on Irradiated Allowances for Latin America and the Caribbean, adopted Work-shop in Lima, Peru, of the 21 at the 25 of 1998

En mayo del ano1998, se celebro en Sao Paulo, Brasil, la Primera Reunion de Coordinadores del Proyecto: Desarrollo de la Irradiacion Comercial de Alimentos en el Cono Sur, ARCAL XXIX. Participan del mismo los cuatro paises firmantes del Tratado del Mercosur, su asociado Chile y ademas Peru. En dicha Reunion los paises se comprometieron a realizar todos los esfuerzos para armonizar las legislaciones nacionales en de alimentos, tomando como base el Reglamento Modelo Armonizado sobre Alimentos Irradiados para America Latina y el Caribe, adoptado en el taller Lima, de Peru, del 21 al 25 de abril del presente anoAvailability note (English)
