Dynamic properties of thin films near the superconducting transition temperature

An oscillatory structure has been detected experimentally in the conductivity of aluminum thin films near T/sub c/. This structure is interpreted as a consequence of a Berezinskii--Kosterlitz--Thouless phase transition in a two-dimensional system of weak links formed in microscopically inhomogeneous, granular films
