Re-evaluation of airborne spectrometric data of Dadu - Hyderabad - Karachi area of southern Sind
Description
The objective of this project is to re-evaluate the airborne gamma ray spectrometric data of Dadu-Hyderabad-Karachi area obtained during the airborne gamma ray spectrometric survey conducted in early 1984. The data was re-evaluated to discover any new Uranium anomalies which could not be discovered during the early evaluation of data. During this evaluation 116 new anomalies were discovered and these anomalies were transferred to the overlay maps (map 2-map 9). After transferring these anomalies to the overlay maps their location with respect to the fight lines and their occurrences with respect to the geological formations hosting them have been discussed and recommendations for the further detailed exploratory work have been given.
