Creators
Description
A prototype of a portable measuring instrument for detection of cadmium in different products is described. When the instrument is hold against an object concentrations of cadmium of 0.1 % may be measured. The principle for the measurement is x-ray fluorescence with iodine-125 as excitating radiation source. To measure concentrations of 0.1 %, 1 min measuring time is neaded. (K.K.)
