Detection and Location of Faulty Fuel Elements in the Dragon Reactor. Dragon Project Report
Description
In order to detect and locate faulty fuel elements in the Dragon Reactor, -facilities for monitoring the primary coolant and the fuel element purge flow have been provided. These facilities and their method of operation are described. Approximate calculations, assuming a particular fuel arrangement, are presented to illustrate differences in activity and pressure measurements between the normal and various faulty fuel element conditions.
