Emission probability of the 453 keV γ-ray emitted in the decay of 146Pr

  • 1. Idaho National Engineering Lab., Idaho Falls (USA)

Description

The emission probability of the 453 keV γ-ray emitted in the decay of 146Pr was measured, using 4π β-γ coincidence counting techniques, to be (48.0 +- 1.5) γ-rays per 100 decays. The 146Pr half-life was remeasured and a value of (24.15 +- 0.18) min was obtained. (author)
