Description

The use of radiation therapy for prostatic carcinoma in the United States compared to other treatments is briefly reviewed. Results of transcutaneous radiation therapy are summarized and some technical improvements of radiation therapy in prostate cancer, as CT scan treatment planning and interstitial brachytherapy, are discussed.
