Description
Detailed estimates are made of the effect of the weak neutral current of electrons and new quarks on the differential cross section for the ee-bar→ee-bar scattering process. Kinematic regions where the near-resonance contribution of the weak neutral current predominates over the nonresonance contribution are found. It is shown that the near-resonance and resonance effects of the weak current in the indicated process are not duplicated by higher-order electromagnetic effects, and do not require for their measurement stringent limitations on the degree of monochromaticity of the electron and positron beams
