Dibaryon studies in NN scattering

Creators

Description

Developments in these three years of dibaryon studies have been su rveyed in NN scattering. The recent pp data on the inelastic cross section difference add one more strong evidence for the 3F3 dibaryon. Recent phase shift results have been reviewed. Most of them lead to the existence of resonance poles in the 1D2 and 3F3 amplitudes. Phase shift solutions of apparently nonresonant type for 3F3 are not supportes by the recent data on the spin-spin observables Asub(ZZ) and Asub(ZX). Other possible diprotons have been touched on briefly. The status of possible I=0 resonances remains with little hard development. In view of their importance for dibaryons, it is hoped to perform further np measurements
