Ensuring an adequate supply of qualified staff for the utilities and their service providers
Description
This paper discusses a strategy for ensuring an adequate supply of qualified staff for the utilities and their service providers. The need for skilled Workers is an incredible opportunity, and a significant risk. This has been recognized and work has been done to address this issue. Currently the employment landscape is a bit complicated. The solution is collaboration. Darlington has 1 unit undergoing refurbishment with 3 units continuing to generate electricity. Need to maintain a full complement of qualified staff for operations and maintenance. Large construction force is on site.
