Cis platin by continuous infusion with concurrent radiation therapy in malignant tumors (a phase I-II study)
Creators
- 1. Downstate Medical Center, SUNY, Brooklyn, NY
Description
The authors performed a phase study whose objective was to find out the dose and duration of cisplatin infusion with best therapeutic ratio. This was followed by a preliminary study whose objective was to establish the effect of cisplatin continuous infusion administered concurrently with radiation therapy on several squamous cell carcinoma malignant tumors chosen as targets because of their high local recurrence rate after radiation therapy alone
